Squats are definitely going to be the first thing on my exercise list, especially when I am talking about butt exercises. In my honest opinion, squats are one of the most beneficial exercises you could possibly do. They will work your hips, butt and your thighs. Also, they are considered a functional exercise, so you will be able to build up your strength for a slew of different daily activities.
Lunges are just one of those exercises that almost everyone hates to do. They are considered to be one of the most challenging exercises, because they work out a ton of muscles all at the same time. No one likes doing lunges, but they are great when you want to work on your butt. Also, the great thing about lunges is the fact that there are many variations to the exercise, so it doesn’t become repetitive and boring.
Step ups are also great when you want to work out your butt muscles. If you want to look good for the beach, you have to keep that butt in tip top condition, so consider doing some step ups. If you can, try to do step ups that are really high. That way, you will get the most beneficial work out.
Hip extensions are definitely going to be an exercise that you will see a lot of women doing in the gym. Even though I am mostly a fan of exercises like squats, lunges, etc… Hip extensions focuses on the largest muscle in your body, which is the butt. If you want to have a more intense work out, try adding some ankle weights to your ankles.
One-legged deadlifts are another exercise you are going to want to do if you want to get your body ready for the summer. Also, they are good just to keep you healthy and fit in general. A one-legged deadlift is much more intense than a normal deadlift and is going to work you. Make sure you do not have any sort of back problems before doing this exercise.
